Yep, another robber near Georgia Tech. You know, one would think the area is some what our of control of the police or something.
Of course if common sense would to prevail, they would allow campus carry. I can predict with some assiduity crime would drop like a rock in a pond. But that of course would have the ability to have common sense, something most social-progressives are lacking.

Bluffing.
Bluffing that you have a gun to deter a criminal is a dangerous game, sometimes it works, as it did for this fella, and sometimes it doesn't. My advice for this lucky fella is to go out to get a real gun, learn how to use it safely, then with full intent use it to defend himself.

Why get a rifle?
Because pistols can't shoot targets at 200 meters,that is why. Also, you just might need one when the poop hits the fan.
Me, I like the AR15 platform, a friend of mine likes the AK platform. We both have our reasons, although I think mine is more rooted in logic. For me the AR is what I know, being prior military. In that fact, I know that there is plenty of parts,magazines,ammo, and such with the military using the M16(the assault weapon version of the semi-auto AR), also many police use them as well.
Nonetheless, get a rifle, known how to use it, and use it well. For it could depend of staying alive, whether that be from raiding hordes or culling game to feed yourself.

FBI new gun (cannon).
Via the Firearm Blog, the FBI have acquired two 20mm cannons,cause calling these rifles is incorrect. Of course the FBI have not stated why they have them or for what purpose, which is obvious, to use against us - the People.
Maybe it is just me going off the deep end, but this is just one more inch,step, thing, that is eroding away the fine line that Posse Comitatus established. For if you can't use the military against the people, then become just like the military.
This is why I am concerned when Cobb County police by wheeled and armored vehicles, them mount German-made belt fed machine guns to them. For there is only reason for a belt fed machine gun, to either lay down suppressive fire, or to mow down a good many people rapidly. Two things that only happens in the military, not a county police department.
This sort of thing needs to stop,and needs to be questioned. For it is endangering our rights, and wasting our tax dollars.

Zero Tolerance or just zero common sense?
Once again the infamous "zero-tolerance" law has proven to lack any common sense with its most recent victim. That would be this kid, who just wanted to go out duck hunting, then go to class afterward. For those,like myself, who grew up in a small rural town, you know what I am talking about. Those days when deer season started,and we were allowed to either leave our rifles in our vehicles or the headmaster's office.
Yeah, those days are gone, and replaces with regime well-intentioned authoritarians. Where even a short chain with Tweetybird will result in being treated like a criminal.
